This page lists everything this website stores on your device, what each item is for, and how long it lasts. It is generated from the site itself rather than written by hand, so it cannot fall out of step with what we actually do.
Advertising measurement is the only thing here you have to decide about, and you can change that decision whenever you like.
Strictly necessary
Signing you in, remembering how many free articles you have read, and letting Stripe take a payment securely. The site does not work without these, so they cannot be turned off.

Audience measurement
We count visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no profile of you, so there is nothing here to switch off.

Advertising measurement
